I went through a photoshop tutorial on youtube and came out with these. I screwed up the white line in the middle and was unable to fix it after I moved several steps forward. I’m still learning the basics but the idea of getting photoshop was to use it for work purposes. I’d like to think this is a start.
My desire to document my progress in Photoshop is the reason for these updates. I take steps little by little and hopefully will improve until things start to come together. The idea of a brick wall on Katy Perry makes no sense whatsoever other than it gives me something to work with. Why I keep using Katy Perry as my shop model is also a valid question. There are two answers 1) She’s hot. 2) People search for her so on the off chance that one of these pictures gets notice, it potentially could find it’s way in google images. This one though, I think I better keep trying.

I thought it would be a good idea to get the adobe products because we are considering doing a new catalog at work and I didn’t want to outsource the work I could probably do myself. This led me to buy a 30 day trial and get photoshop and everything else for 50 bucks a month. I always thought it would be a good skill to have but never found the time, or had the software, to give it a try. Lo and behold, this is what I came up with after about an hour and a half of tutorial. I’ve only started to understand some of the functions but you will thank me in a few months because this should produce some trademark content. Sorry to make you a part of this experiment Laura.
