Feeling Good

I took the day off to go golfing at Talmore Country club with Weller and CK4 and I enjoy days like these like no other. First off, I wake up completely sober and feeling good which differs from every weekend. Plus I know that it turns it into a 4 day work week which is also nice. Finally, I imagine this is how people who are independently wealthy live their life. They wake up in the morning, do what they have to do, play a round of golf and just enjoy the day. Day’s like these are what I would like to have as part of my repertoire.

I’m going to go through my round hole by hole so just stop reading if you don’t like golf. I decided to keep the big stick in the bag today and just try to stay in play. I hit my 3rd shot on a par 4 from 75 yards to two feet to par the 1st. I was back green in two on the 2nd hole and made bogey. 3rd whole I was errant but found it and made bogey. Par 3 4th I was on and made par. The 5th I hit a rocket of a drive but hit my 2nd OB and ended up making bogey. Bogey on 6 and then a triple on 7 when I hit a PW 145 over the green into some bushes. I played 8 and 9 in regulation for pars on both and a 42 front. Fine drive on 10, nice approach shot on and a dreaded 3 putt birdie opp for bogey. 11 I hit a bad 2nd shot into some marsh greenside, bad chip, 3 putt for a double. 12 was a par 3 that I hit on and pared. 13 was a hard par 5 that I made bogey on but misplayed with a poor 2nd shot. 14 was a par 3 that I should have parred if I could chip but made bogey. I played 15 in regulation for a par. 16 I was long behind the green and made a 7 which could have been better. 17 I made bogey but a good chip would have given me a good chance at par. 18 I hit a drive onto another holes fairway and hit a 2nd shot to a green side water. I dropped and ended up making bogey for a nice 88 and my best round of the year so far. It’s pretty obviously that I play better when I’m sober and I was happy to play well on a nicer course.

After golf I called XM and got them to charge me $60 dollars for 6 months of service instead of $212 for a year. I just called and told them that it isn’t fair that they give their promotions to new customers when their existing customers have to pay full price. Then I said what happens if I cancel my service and what’s going to happen? You are going to send me notices at a reduced rate to get me back so you might as well just give me the better rate now.

After that I ran to the track and did 3 miles at 5:49 pace and a couple of quarters after that and then 6 minutes of a stair workout. I bought some new shoes that are wider and they really are more comfortable and I wonder why I haven’t been wearing wider shoes for years. I also signed up for the ING Distance Run which commits me to doing it and gives me about a month to get in half marathon shape. I can probably finish 6 or 7 at 6:00 pace which is my goal pace, but I’m a ways away from finishing 13 at that pace. I just need to keep myself running daily and not taking days off from being too wasted.

I really feel good about things and I’m hoping to get a grip on my life and rectify some mistakes I’ve been making like drinking too much and throwing away money. I’m trying to turn over a new leaf here and I’m hoping things will improve for the better for myself. I’m also going to attempt to be nicer to people because I’ve taken a view in the past that the majority of people are idiots ,but I will also begin to give them the benefit of the doubt and let them prove to me they are idiots before I assume so. I’m looking forward to work tomorrow and getting some things handled that have been looming in the wings.

What I did on my Weekend

I left work a bit early on Friday to drive to the shore and play golf at Cape May National. It was Ck4, Baker and I and the first time I’d played the course in many years. I was pretty impressed with the layout of the course and it certainly was a challenging one. There was heather all over the place and if you didn’t keep your shots in play, the numbers were going to add up quickly. I was 43 on the front (1st hole mulligan) and felt like I was playing pretty well. My irons were on point and my short game was better than it’s been recently. I couldn’t get off the tee at all because I’ve developed this duck hook which came into play big time on the back. I ended up with a 54 on the back which probably consisted of about 5-6 lost balls. If I would have used my 5 iron off the tee instead of the driver, this all may have been avoided. It was still a fun round though but I was pretty discouraged to shoot high 90’s with a 43 on the front. I’d give the course about an A- for value and playability.

After golf we drove to sea isle. I probably had about 6 beers before we went out and a gulp of Smirnoff that I immediately regretted after I did it. I was fine though and we went to the OD for a decent time. A funny correlation was made when Baker was saying how much classier and attractive the girls are in Avalon. What he wasn’t taking into consideration is as the class and attractive level go up, the chances of scoring go way down. Personally I don’t really mind the Sea Isle crowd. So I woke up on Saturday, had a few beers, mixed some Vodka and Gatorade to bring to the beach and enjoyed a nice beach day. At around 5 we went to the OD for their no shower happy hour and I probably had another 5-6 beers. I met this one girl who was apparently by herself and I ended up buying her a shot and she was holding my hand through the dance floor so I figured this should be an easy conversion. However when I tried to dance with her from behind she just kind of wasn’t into it so I figured if she’s not going to dance like a slut then my chance with her probably isn’t that great. So I failed on that and went back to the place. After that not to much eventful took place and I passed out at 9pm not to be awoken until 9am. So I pretty much wasted a night out there but it’s for the best because nothing bad happened. I did jack shit on Sunday and now it’s back to Monday. I actually did play in the Sunday Mill yesterday and finished in 1700 when 1260 cashed. I had AK lose to 9T that would have almost guaranteed me making the money. I feel like I play well but get nothing to show for it time and time again.

For the Sunday TV recap. Entourage was average again. I don’t mind the whole Ari – Lizzy thing. The Turtle side plot is really dumb and I’m going to keep pointing it out. I don’t really mind them bringing Billy back but the Drama cartoon is sort of stupid even though I like Drama. True Blood was a pretty good episode. I’m not going to go to much into it but I like what they are doing with Crystal and that side and not really giving away too much info. The Eric Northman – Russell showdown should be good. I think the question to what is Sookie isn’t too bad either. I just think it’s a really good show with many good storylines. I’ve also continued to watch the Ocho show. He finally got some action from one of the girls and then ends up kicking her off. He’s doing a decent job of weeding them out and I’m hoping Tara pulls it off because she’s easily the most entertaining.

Cleanliness

I liked Sam’s comment about how often he will use a towel before it’s time for a wash so i figured I would give my thoughts on what’s clean and when it’s time to clean. I sweat a lot, so after any physical activity the clothes I wear go directly to the hamper not to be worn again until they get washed. For non-physical activity it gets a little trickier. First off it depends on how long I wore it and what I was doing. If I spend less than 4 or so hours in the shirt and did some moderate walking around but nothing that would break a sweat, I would consider wearing the shirt again but most likely it hits the bin. For example, after ditching my work t-shirt today, I showered and put on a new T. We went to the bar and now I’ve been wearing it for 5 hours. This shirt although perfectly clean, will not be worn again by me. It goes in laundry because I don’t like wearing my clothes so closely together. I guess it’s like a Paris Hilton thing that you never wear the same outfit twice, but even though no one ever pays attention to what I wear anyway, I feel like I have 20 t-shirts that all deserve equal chance at a wear. Tom Stortz doesn’t play favorites when it comes to t-shirts. Also anytime physical activity is done and I break a sweat, I have to shower within 15 minutes after finishing. I just get this feeling of complete dirtiness and grossness if I’m not so fresh and so clean. As I write this I see that I’m really neurotic and feel like Bill Murray from What About Bob. It’s funny too because I don’t get grossed out about eating food off the ground (5 second rule) or drinking from other peoples drinks so I sort of pick and choose which battles I want to fight. I feel like my immune system is impenetrable so germs don’t really bother me much. I will wear my jeans and shorts though for a long time because they don’t touch my junk due to the boxers. I also want to point out that you need lots of everything to make this style work effectively. Lots of boxers, socks, and t-shirts. All stains on items must be washed as soon as possible because stains show a weak amount of self respect. Stay clean is my message.

Just to follow up on something I mentioned a few posts before about finding an activity to do, I think I thought of one. I was scanning around some different sites and one had to do with other peoples blogs so I checked a few out and realized how good some peoples writing styles are. When I read theirs I felt like mine was “uggh, me caveman, me write bad.” These people were just really descriptive, had good topics, and wrote impressive work. Now I know there are millions upon millions of blogs out there and I might have stumbled on a few good ones, but it got me thinking that I might have to improve my writing style. I only got a 500 or so on my verbal so I’m no genius when it comes to vocab / writing and I sort of hope my good ideas make up for my average writing. Point being, I think I might sign up for some creative writing course and learn how to do a better job of writing while also being forced to create quality work. This was probably my best idea of the year, which shows what kind of a year its been for good ideas. I’ll give it some more thought and probably not do it but who knows, maybe I’ll take the inititive.

Quick life update even though I’ve been jumping around. My 7 iron head fell off at the range so I’m getting my swing doctor (Bill Schmidt) to go to the range with me, work with my swing and pick up a new set of irons to replace my 10 year old Tommy Armour 845’s. This was also my 3rd day in a row with a good workout and I’ve proved that I’m still not where I want to be with 3 miles at 18:00 and then some 400’s that I could barely muster up at 82’s. I’ve been feeling good though and want engrave in my brain that I’m not going to get too fucked up this weekend because it is hindering my training and physical self. I actually have about 3 more topics in the works for this site so I’ll be posting some more material in the coming days. Thanks for reading.

Jam packed Sunday

I was 4th overall in the mud run out of almost 1500 people which wasn’t too shabby. I fell asleep after the run and then went golfing with Bake, the Wagon and the Shee. Bake blew the course (and competition) away with an 82. I finished with a 91 which wasn’t awful but I was killing myself off the tee with good drives coming far and few between. It was a good, fun round though that completed my non alcohol weekend.

I also watched True Blood and Entourage tonight as well to fit all my TV time in tonight. Jkash and I both agree that the show has lost it’s luster. I’m not sure how anyone else feels, but Turtle is not a lead storyline and should be used as a supporting actor. Drama’s shtick is getting old as it’s the same thing of him looking for work every season. They are stretching some plot lines with Vince but he’s not the problem. I like the Lizzie and Ari storyline but I think that’s just because it’s Ari and Jeremy Piven is a really good actor. They seem to think that a few cameos makes the show. Wake up HBO, people actually prefer good television to seeing a few celebrities.

I find True Blood to be one of the best shows on television. Since it’s not only humans they can use some pretty far out story lines. Plus they jump around a lot among the different side plots and I find them all entertaining and I like how they intertwine together. Not one character annoys me on the show, except Arlene and Hoyt, but everyone else does a good job of playing their role. I think Franklin is hilarious and Russell, the king vampire, piques my interest. All in all just a very good show.

The Ochocinco show is an absolute programming gem. This is by no means a good show but the entertainment value is sky high. If you haven’t seen it, I suggest you watch it but I’m just going to point out some of the finer moments. The one girl can’t get her dress to zip up and she blames it on eating too many hotdogs during the tail gate. So she says something to the effect “maybe I should take it off and move the zipper up and down to loosen it up, try some oil.” Yeah, that’ll work. In the next scene her friend is telling her to eat all her food on the date because her competition said she was going to eat like a bird. I’m pretty sure the girl who couldn’t get her zipper up isn’t keen on the idea of pigging out at dinner to prove to Ocho that she eats like a normal person. The next great moment came when they flashed the name Heather when Angela was talking which makes me wonder if the editors are even watching what they are doing. After pointing out that TO used “interesting” last week, Ocho must have said it 10 times this episode. Finally, the producers must be ripping their hair out that Ocho eliminated the most smoking, hot girl for a beast of a woman. I honestly think he ruined the rest of the show because he’s not going to choose Jasmine at the end so why get rid of a person who can potentially grow on you (and I thought had a decent personality). I know it’s probably all scripted too but I’m amused. Ocho seems to pause and talk so slowly when he’s in the camera room that he must be reading off of cue cards or something. Vh1 does it right.

It’s 1am now and I want to finish the “girl with the dragon tattoo” tonight. People tell me they see mostly girls reading I’m pretty sure it’s a chick book but I think it’s very well done. It’s a murder mystery by the way in case you thought it was some love story. I have about a hundred pages left and I like the attention to details and how its played out so far. If you are looking for a good read, I will approve of this book, even if it is for chicks.

Philly 10k Mud Run

It’s 9am on Sunday and I want to post (not blog) about what I did this weekend. On Friday I stayed in and read my book. On Saturday, I woke up early and got my hair cut, bought some new polos from the outlets in Pottstown, got my race packet for Sunday, went to the driving range, played a weak round of golf with the Wagon, and then sat in and did nothing but read my book again with some online poker mixed in. There was absolutely no drinking and no fun whatsoever but I feel like a million bucks now ready to enjoy a perfect Sunday, most likely golfing.

I woke up today at 6am to do a 10k Mud run at Belmont Park. Most people don’t really know much about running but Belmont is a hilly, trail run. This course was hosted by military personnel so they had military obstacles at each mile of the course. There were about 4,500 people there and about 1200 did the 10k. My initial feeling was that most people were there to have a good time and not to compete by time. They started people off in waves which was smart because the course is really narrow and there would be major problems if everyone was clumped together. The first group that went off was the military and I was part of the next group. I started off in the back of the pack but once we were underway it was pretty clear that I was in much better shape than the people around me. About 100 meters off the line my right foot drops in this 2 foot hole and I hit the deck on the “hole in the ground” obstacle. Fortunately I was fine. I ended up leading my wave after about half a mile. The first obstacle was a cargo net which proved to be no problem. There was this really steep hill at about 2 miles, followed by a jump over 3 hurdles each which got progressively higher. This wasn’t too bad either but I was really winded after the hill so my pace was almost at a crawl after the jump. I regained my strength through some flat trail area and then there was about a 20 foot net that you had to crawl under which isn’t difficult but these obstacles take some energy out of you. After the net it was a nice flat mile, and then another nice half mile or so on black top with a gentle downhill which allowed me to regain my composure. Next were some hay bails that had to be climbed over which was a breeze. There were no mile markers on the course which was really dumb in my opinion so I wasn’t sure how much was left but once I made a right turn and saw all the spectators, I realized I was almost at the end. From what I could tell only one person from my wave was ahead of me and I was passing military personnel throughout. The last obstacle before the “mud pit” was a 8 foot rope climb over a ramp. The ramp was covered in shampoo and slippery as an eel. I grabbed the first knot of the rope ok, then the second, then the third, and I had to move my leg over the top. So I tried to reach my leg out and missed the top and wiped out and slammed my shoulder into the ramp. The spectators let out an “ohhh” and amazingly I didn’t let go of the 3rd knot so I stood up and reached my leg over the ramp successfully. After climbing that I had, unknowingly, only 50 meters left and then the mud pit.

I stagger to the mud pit a bit unsure of how to proceed and dive right under. It’s about 25 meters and there are ropes above to get under. This picture is a little generous. I splash through the first couple and get muddy water all in my eyes while I’m down to the last dive. I’m sort of taking my time because I have contacts and can’t see anything and I hear the fans going nuts because there is this guy hauling ass through this pit to my right. Well naturally I don’t like to lose so I get moving and we exit the pit at the same time with about a 25 meter sprint and lord knows that I’m not going to let this guy out kick me so I busted a move, got my right shoulder in front of his and took the spot.

I wasn’t in the best shape going into this and I’m sure the time isn’t good as the race is really hilly and the obstacles will slow anyone down, but I think I was 2nd in my wave and felt ok throughout. It was pretty fun and a nice change from the standard. If anyone reads this and wants to do this race next year or anywhere else, let me know because I’m in.

Phils 5k & the sms

So I ended up winning the old man’s age division, 25-29, with a time of 17:55 or so. I think I was about 21st for the race out of 700. This was another example of not being as good as I once was. Both my times from last year in the Broad St and this race were both faster last year. This one I chalk up to lack of training and not running as good of a race as I could have. I felt pretty strong finishing it, I just didn’t want to die throughout the race so I might have held back a bit. Nonetheless I wasn’t beating Sam who was low 17:00’s. The days of being able to compete with top high school and college athletes are over and I’ll never see them again. Enough running talk although I’m doing a 10k at Belmont Plateau on Sunday so I only have a few days to prepare for what I hear is a really tough course. Throw in some military obstacles and I can hardly contain my enthusiasm. This will probably be a non-drinking weekend so that’s probably a good thing.

I’ve paid off all my dental crap so I’m happily in the clear and restarting from today’s date. I’ve invested some money in stocks like RIMM and Teva and I’m thinking about buying some GS and GE. I don’t have much faith in our financial system but I’m hoping strong companies will prevail through tough times. From what I read it seems like we are going to be in for some slow growth up ahead and I’m pretty sure no one knows for sure what is going to happen. I’m still on the SIRI bandwagon as I’m sure you want to know. Enough finance talk as I’m sure this is just as boring as the running talk.

I want to express my growing appeal for the text message. I like the text because it’s very impersonal and I don’t feel any need to respond to it. When someone calls me, I immediately think “what is this pressing issue that this person wants to discuss with me.” It’s funny because when I see I have a missed call I get agitated that I have to call the person back. When I see a text it’s exciting because I can look at it and not have to do anything about it. That growing bbm signal next to the text is a sign of hope for future plans. Plus it gives me time to think about how I want to respond without being put on the spot. My only problem with the phone is lulls in the conversation and this need to be talking all the time. There’s no breaks and I always feel like I’m forcing a goodbye when I don’t want to talk any longer or the convo is going nowhere. The BBM is fine too but you are limited to the people who are part of your contacts so there is no shock value as to who is contacting you. I use the phone all the time at work so it’s not like I’m inept but sometimes I’m just not in the mood to talk, whereas I feel no pressure from texts. I like emails too but I’m amazed at how many people don’t get their emails to their phone. This is so elementary but I don’t think some people have the same level of commitment to emails as others. My dad for instance has a personal company email and doesn’t bother to check it so I do it for the both of us. If you really have to call me, don’t hesitate because you read this post. I have to write about something.

Phillies?

So Evan and Adam invited me to the Phillies game which I replied “I would go if you didn’t have anyone else who wanted to go more.” None of us really knew what that meant so I went. We got Campo’s for dinner and I had a chicken cheese steak. It was a greasy, pretty decent, overpriced sandwich but the ones that come out of Market St are far superior. While walking to our seats we made a bet that involved us choosing 2 players, and if our chosen player hit a home run, then the other two owed the person whose guy hit the home run 2 bucks. The game was just underway at the time. So Adam got Howard and Ibanez, Evan got Bruce and Rolen, and I chose Votto and Werth. As we are walking to our seats we hear “that was a sweet spot for Votto.” So before we even arrived at our seats I had a dinger from Votto and was up 4 bucks. J Roll’s theme song was “Teach me how to Dougie” so Adam learned how to dougie which is always a good experience. No one there really knew how to so we’ll all just assume it hasn’t caught on yet.

In the middle of the 5th Evan and I decided to go meet Jess Baker and Rachel at the speed pitch. While we were walking to meet them I asked him “how do we greet them, a hug, a in close wave….?” So when we got there I gave Rachel a sideways hug and just stood there and said hello to Jess. I think Jess reads this and I think it’s funny to write about it so next time I see her there’s something to talk about. After that we did speed pitch. I’ve said before that I have some accuracy problems and they were obviously on display. They give you three throws. I can throw pretty hard but when the first two bounce half way before they radar and the last one is so wild it registered at 21, it’s pretty embarrassing. I’m going to seek out a speed pitch and redeem myself sometime in the near future. We then got some 6 dollar milk shakes and went back during the start of the 8th. Phils were up by one in the ninth when Lidge blew the save and they ended up winning it with a walk off homer by Schneider in the 12th. Considering I only go to 1 or 2 games a year, it was certainly a good one to see.

I actually enjoyed the experience despite all the trash talking I do about professional sports and how dumb it is. The Cohen’s are good company for the game even though they are all friends with words (even their dad). The other amazing thing was that I didn’t have a beer all night and didn’t even feel the need to. We’re coming along nicely. I took one picture at the game and it’s really bizarre how far down the moon is to the field. I couldn’t believe it at first but sure enough…

Running & Poker

I went to the track yesterday and ran 3 miles. I was 5:40, 5:47, 5:38 for each mile. I think that proves that I’m in decent 5k shape but my endurance on longer runs isn’t there, so I still have to work that into my schedule. I’ve developed some nice blisters on my feet because of my weird running style and old shoes, so I’m going to have to take a day off to heal. It amazes me how much better shape I’m in now then when I was in college. I think it’s just the routine that allows it. It’s like robotic after my work day, I have to put forth the time to exercise and without it I feel like a waste. The whole idea of a routine makes this life a bit wacky. I try to wake up at the same time everyday. I go to the same places for breakfast and lunch and order the same thing every time. You have no idea how many Nantucket Nectar Half and Half’s I’ve drank or everything bagels with cream cheese I’ve eaten. Also anytime I go to WaWa for breakfast I eat their philly steak & egg breakfast sandwich and it’s never a disappointment. I’ve actually considered scheduling my work day with specific times to do specific things. Like 9am – 10am I should make 10 sales calls. From 10am – ? add / edit content for the website. I feel like some structure helps keep you on track and can probably assist in accomplishing more. That being said, after writing that I’m mostly conservative yesterday, I don’t think it should come as a shock that I don’t like altering things from my normal schedule. I’m not like Rainman where I’m not able to change things but just feel more comfortable with the way I like to do things.

I’ve gotten back into poker for the time being. I’ve played about 2,000 hands in the last week or so and have been breakeven which is good because I was down to start off. I feel really comfortable 4 tabling the 25nl and I’m pretty sure I’m developing a winning style and feel confident I’ll be moving up limits once I win enough at this level to make me feel as if I’m ready to move up. The key will be to have good bankroll mgmt over the weekend while I’m drinking and not piss the money away. I can tell that after watching some OMGClayAiken videos that I’m way more aggressive than most players at that level and now it’s just going to be refining my game. I’m hoping I can make some supplemental income with this because I am putting forth the effort to try to improve my game. I will keep a record in this blog of how I’m doing but won’t dwell on it too much because I know it’s not the most interesting subject for some. Sorry these weekday posts aren’t filled with action. I also want to thank “tall guy” for the feedback and I’m glad that I can fill in as a #2 activity to distract you from work.

100%

I’m almost back to 100%. My feet are back to normal after only a couple of days post race. My results are also posted at www.broadstreetrun.com so I’m not a ghost runner anymore. I also got this ridiculous blister from softball on my hand. We went to the batting cages earlier and I probably swung 75 times and that just completely chewed through my skin and it’s been annoying these last few days but it’s finally starting to heal. With just a touch of alcohol in my system from the weekend, I’m feeling pretty good today.

Two days ago I went 6-1 in heads up matches ranging from 20-50 buck matches but yesterday I gave back most of those winnings playing a handful of tourneys. I’ll give some very good advice to anyone who plays online often. Stay away from games in the 5:30 to 7 pm time frame. I think the players are much more adept at this time for some reason that probably stems from finishing up work at this time. I’ve been 5-1 in my sports betting lately. I was down to 13 dollars in my bodog account but worked that up to an even 100 to continue with the same money I deposited at the beginning of the March Madness Tourny. It’s not a lot of cash but the entertainment I’ve gotten out of it has plenty of value.

If you have no money or don’t follow the stock market, I wouldn’t mind trading places with you right now. Shit has really hit the fan and the market seems to be giving back some gains. Just to outline a couple of WTF’s that are making me wonder how I can keep my money in the stock market. Toyota and the pedal incident. Goldman and their deception. Greece and it’s debt along with Portugal, Spain, and Italy. There’s no way in hell that we are going to see smooth sailing ahead. The Euro is going to collapse in the future. I bought today an ETF that goes up as the dollar strengthens against the Euro. I would expect to see the 1.20 dollars have the buying power of 1 Euro in the near future and who knows after that. My first encounter with options has been a disaster. I bought some C calls with a 5 strike price that are now worth 3 cents (I bought them for 26 cents). It only cost me 2 hundred bucks but still it’s like burning money. My SIRI options are still fine as I’m up about a c note on them but I have them out to June so I still have time. I’m considering selling everything, getting all my money in one lump some and trading more selectively rather than diversifying a portfolio with stocks and using a buy and hold philosophy. I think it’s a very interesting time financially and to be under the impression that everything is fine and I’m going to let my money ride is a bit worrisome. We’ve seen gains too big and too fast to not be a little suspect.

I went to the track yesterday and ran a 60 quarter, then a 2 minute lap, a 2:40 800, 2 minute lap, a 5:52 mile, 2 minute lap, then a 75 quarter, 2 minute lap, 2:42 half, 2 minute lap, and then finally a 5:52 mile. I was pretty happy with that and my 2 minute laps were between 2 and 2:30. I’ll continue to train hard for the rest of the summer and try to put on a better time in the 10 miler and the distance run.

I’m going to watch Gina Lynn and Bombshell this Friday. Bombshell was on Howard today and apparently the fight is staged but I expect some titties to be popping out and I guess I could care less if it’s real or not. She was an interesting character and I really didn’t dislike her as much as I would think. She was down to Earth and seemed to tell the truth. Nevetheless, it should be interesting and something different.

I’ve sold 3 books on half.com for about 50 bucks which I’m a bit surprised at. I’m also almost finished the Hunter S. Thompson biography which makes me feel good about myself that someone is way way way nuttier than I am. I like biography’s like this and will continue to read about psychos in the future.

I’m not proofreading this either so forgive me for anything that doesn’t make sense.
