Last week was a 4 day drink binge that went from Thursday night to Sunday afternoon. It took me 3 full days of hydrating before I feel normal again. Meaning that I felt pretty lousy the last two days and today I’m finally starting to feel like myself. If someone could invent a hydration pill or something that prevents dehydration after drinking a ton, I’d be interested. And no smart answers like water. It’s really unfortunate too because I am active with bball and the gym in the middle of the week and I feel like I’m getting in great shape, and then I take the weekends and consume 50 beers and it’s like the reset button on Nintendo. Once I get to sleep, I’ll wake up feeling the best I’ll feel all week and then hopefully not fall to the depths Thursday night.

The Sheee told me to watch the League and I watched on Demand. I found myself laughing pretty hard through a few of the parts and was pretty surprised that I found the show enjoyable. I may even go and buy myself the first season to catch up on the episodes. I don’t know of too many better things then finding a good show that has been on a for a while and then catching up on seasons in a short amount of time. Sure you are just jumping on the bandwagon but you didn’t have to waste your time on a week to week basis to figure out the show was good. It’s much more efficient to do it with the box sets. Sheee will appreciate the recognition for his good choice of shows. He said that I he has a rotation of web pages he visits and mine and Sam’s are part of the rotation. He always makes sure to tell me how much better Sam’s is but it’s like water running off a ducks back. You see you come to my blog and look what gems of sayings you find.

I’m sort of in a inbetween phase where I don’t really have anything going and I just try to think of the most productive thing I can do. Work has been going well so I’ve been able to spend a decent chunk of the day that way. Then I spend an hour a day at the gym which is a good hour. Then I have to decide between TV, movies, poker, or books. I have yet to start a new book so once I do that I feel committed for 10-20 hours or so. I go through TV lineups and some of this cable programming is just disgusting. I have a hard time watching any sport unless I put money on it and even then I’m only interested in the final two minutes. I’ve DVR-D some movies like Alien, Lost Boys, and Return of the Jedi but I just don’t feel like getting into them. Poker, I’ve decided, is a waste of my time because even if I am a profitable players it’s not worth the amount of time I put in for the small amount of money I can make. So what does that leave me with? I should try to think of something productive to do with my time that will enhance my way of life. I’ll get back to you on that one…
