If you’ve read Bill Watterson’s books about Calvin and Hobbes, you’ll know Christmas was a huge theme throughout. Calvin constantly trying to stay out of trouble in order to get presents was many strips. In the end he always finds Hobbes and his family as the real gifts. By far the best portrayal of Christmas I can think of. The last one almost makes me cry.
