If you go to meet people in places and situations you find uncomfortable, would you expect to find comfort in a person you meet there? I suppose this is why friends, coworkers, etc. - people in established comfort &quot;zones&quot; seem to always get together. Connection, to me at least, seems to be about just that. Finding, looking and discovering are very different things - but often applied to dating they get lumped together. No one &quot;finds&quot; or &quot;discovers&quot; someone - they are simply impacted by someone. There may be no formula. 


You know what you want - and you are smart enough and passionate enough to realize this - something many cannot claim. Continue to be the self you know - allow others to impact that perception - welcome it - and life (and yourself) will evolve. 

People have a strange way of sneaking up on you...but you need to be prepared to look.
