After thinking about the math more, I realized that’s minutes not hours, that would be ridiculous if that was hours.

Thinking about the math another way, I played conservatively speaking two hour of video games every single day since I was 6 years old starting with Mario 64. This doesn’t account for the 7 hour Diablo sessions or the all-day Guitar Hero marathons, and it’s over 10,000 hours.

Funny thing, I was playing Super Smash last night for the first time in ages because we had a recruit over. I checked out the stats (don’t worry Bud, you still have hit % by a large margin) and it says that the playtime on the user name SAM is 9999:59. It can’t log any more than 10,000 hours. Given the fact that I think I’ve played Guitar Hero and the Blizzard games significantly more than Smash, I’d say you’re probably up there for video games as well.

Video games definitely developed my hand-eye coordination when I got practice punching you for knocking the controller out of my hand while playing John Elway Football.
