after the first season I was expecting the 2nd one to be just him in bed, in a dark room, hitting “SNOOZE” on an alarm clock. The guy had been running around for 24 hours!!!

Not sure if you are familiar – but it is about a family (2 brothers) who take over and run small family business after the death of their father. They run a funeral home. Alan Ball (“American Beauty” involved). In my opinion it (as a complete series) is the best thing to air on television (with Twin Peaks as a close second). And they did something most shows don’t – they STOPPED when it was great.
