How will Donald Trump make your life - or the business better?

The only moments Trump has actually had to present somewhat pragmatic policies were during the debates - and they were flawed at best. The remainder of his run he has simply spoken in overwhelmingly vague terms regarding jobs, manufacturing, trade, healthcare, etc.

I am asking because this is what we have in front of us. But I have zero idea of what it actually is he can do to better our lives, jobs, etc. Having full control of every voting branch of government will help - but having 0 experience in any form of public service/accountability will not help. Does he know the right Senator to call to swing a vote on a bill? Does he know who to call abroad should a tragic terrorist attack happens? It will take Trump 4 years to literally learn how to vaguely do the job it seems.

People aren't devastated because Trump won, but because the *other side* convinced them that Trump is basically the second coming of Hitler.

Which is patently not true.

All the "literally shaking" folks are reacting to their own hallucinations and faulty models of the world, not anything objectively happening in the real world.

Best Facebook comment I read.

America didn’t die. In fact, what happened last night is America being very much alive. Half the country felt ignored and angry and disenfranchised and they wrested control of the government from the people they felt ignored by. That’s how democracy works. It’s an uncomfortable compromise where half the country is appalled by who the president is at all times. Obama’s elections made tens of millions of people feel the same way.

KMarko from Barstool:

And in the end it was the latter that won out. What Twitter convinced you was a scumbag minority actually turned out to be a lot bigger. The cocky, dismissive, arrogant and flat out condescending tone and attitude taken by almost every single major mainstream blog and website turned out to, shockingly, not represent the majority of Americans.
