The following are prime ages: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97, 101, etc.

I think that you can be in your prime at different subjects at different points of life. I may hit athletic prime at 17 but business prime at 35.

I listened to Howard Stern do an interview with Brian May in 93′ and Howard is repeatedly interrupting him and basically stealing the interview. Today he is masterful at interviews and has improved tremendously over 21 years. I would consider today his prime at the age of 60. But would he?

“Prime” is defined by the person you’re asking, not the person who’s asking. You’re in your “prime” when what you WANT to do is exactly what you ARE doing. If a 60 year old dude wants to get drunk and bang girls, he would say his prime was in his 20s, because that’s when he was probably best at it, but generally your wants change with what becomes available, which is why you can stay in your prime from your 20s-60s. If a 40 year old WANTS to spend time with his wife and kids more than anything else, and he IS doing that, then he’s in his prime.

I don’t know how you stay in your prime in your 70s-80s though. That seems impossible.
