The Postal Service is music created from much less talent in my opinion. Its pretty much just mixing in a studio. Death Cab for Cutie is a legit band, and while you may not like their music, grammy nominations and bands with die hard fans like Death Cab are clearly appealing to massive groups. I agree that some of the songs can be annoying when overplayed on the radio, but pretty much any song can be ruined this way. I actually prefer PS to Death Cab also, but its not comparing apples to apples because one is computer music created by machine, and the other is raw talent from individuals using instruments.
