I have to say that my current season Sixer knowledge is severely lacking since I left Philadelphia. His stats are looking a little less all star rosterish from a sheer numbers point of view. But if the league is going to feel obligated to pull one player from the sixers to play on the All Star team seeing as how they were/are one of the best teams in the East, who do you choose? No one is qualified like Andre is for the role from the Sixers.
I do stand by my point that I think people ask too much from Andre because they are dying for him to be the All Star that will drag the team through the playoffs….he can contribute a lot more when he doesn’t feel the need to gun up the game winner.

The whole “let’s just bash Igoudala for not being Allen Iverson” bandwagon is over. Once people started saying he is overpaid, any Joe that wants to be included in a basketball conversation just says how Igoudala sucks. Andre Igoudala is playing his heart out for this team and is playing unselfish basketball trying to have this team play to it’s fullest potential. If you want to get into all the monetary issues with him and the salary cap, then you can make some valid points; however, then you just fall into the category of mixing business with sport and you can talk about the Sixers cough ups over the years for hours. Bottom line is that the guy is a great player who deserves to be on the all star roster in my opinion. Problem is that the current Sixer’s roster will not be winning the East in any 7 game series.

Igoudala is trash truck juice. Management should ask him to give up some of his salary to bring in another player.

I agree on most counts although I do think Spencer Hawes is a starting center. Regardless, even if they got a star I don’t see anyone beating the Heat out of the east.
