What about examples of using colors? Such as in the category Things that kids play with….the letter P
The answer used was Purple Pillow
The next category was things in a wedding…The letter P
The answer was Pink panties

Only the Pink panties passed. The Purple pillow was vetoed. Do both these qualify or none qualify.

The argument is there is pink panties but not purple pillows

The question needed answered is can colors be used to add points

I loved reading your editorial; it had me chuckling the whole way through. It is nice to know I am not the only person who sometimes thinks that other people’s answers are not point-worthy! I think we are too forgiving when playing here at my house…..I’m usually the only person who ever questions an answer. And using the internet to solve conflicts is brilliant. Why didn’t I think of that!! And BTW Evan sounds veeeeery creative lol ^_^

I’ve always considered a Miata a fold em up car. Meaning you get hit and it folds up. My comment makes me feel this big – .
Bud, I would have thought that was a pretty good answer. I certainly would accept pregnancies. The planned isn’t an adjective so I even think that’s two points. That is no doubt a good one to argue over. I know the post made it seem like give an on point answer or else I’ll veto but I agree pregnancies happen in Las Vegas all the time and they can be planned. Depending on the planned, at least one.

First of all, it has nothing to do with attention. I fill out the first thing that comes to my head – sometimes I go back to it if there is time, sometimes I don’t. Do you know how many kids think Peter Piper is a celebrity? A lot. Just because you don’t, doesn’t mean it is not a good answer. Weatherspoon has been to the gym at least 2,000 times in his life.

Secondly, it’s called It Takes Two to Make a Thing Go Right… not round. It only takes One to make a thing go round – you just spin it. ‘It’ and ‘The’ should be excluded as first words in ANY answer, thus making that a three pointer.

I was playing a few weeks ago, and the category was something like “Things found in Las Vegas.” The letter was P, and I put “planned pregnancies,” since there are people who live in Vegas year round, and live their normal lives there. I suppose that’s not in the spirit of what the category was asking, but I was expecting 2 points, only to have it vetoed. Something tells me you would’ve vetoed that as well.

“no fucking way” is just the tip of The Lamps’ scattegories prowess. I think being unable to flip your own list when the timer starts because you’re too excited to write answers and you can’t use the correct list is pretty absurd.

also, i enjoyed “things you save up for” (letter is M) and someone mentions Mazda. Tom replies: “that’s a shitty car, but sure i’ll accept.” The Lamps’ new car: Mazda 3. nice work TC. insulting the competition is one strategy.
