You wouldn’t be doing it if you didn’t WANT the eyeballs. I just don’t understand WHY you WANT the eyeballs.

Why not just make this a porn site? You’ll get 100x more visitors than you get now. Would that make you happier?

I’ll tell you why you don’t do that – because the eyeballs viewing your site for “boner material” are useless and you know that. They’re people you don’t know who will never visit a page on this site and have zero interest in your life or anything you write about.

Wouldn’t you rather post “quality” content that the active readers (all people you know personally) can engage with compared to some Katy Perry boob post that your readers shake their heads at when they see it, but gets you a couple hundred extra randos to the site?

It comes down to defining your goal. If you’re solely looking for eyeballs (or proving that you can get eyeballs, which you seem to indicate it is) – go all boobs. You’ll lose your daily readers, but who cares?

If your goal is writing posts as a creative expression and to engage with your readers / the people you know, ditch the stupid boob posts. The extra visits are doing nothing on your site and adding no value to you unless you plan on selling the domain (you won’t / it’s not worth enough) or are going to do AdSense.
