I have never heard of Waze ever and have been a loyal Apple consumer for 15+ years. GoogleMaps is the way to go always. While the interface of Apple products is usually well beyond their competition, it is aggravating that they default to their own (often subpar) applications - i.e. AppleMaps. Safari is the most annoying mobile browser ever, but there are basically no other viable options (that I am aware of) for the iPhone. I also miss the privacy elements I used to have on my old Blackberry. With Apple, everything just seems to appear on every other Apple device you have, which is annoying when you are trying to be discreet with your selfie collection.

Bell's Brewery (MI) had the best response to Bud.

Got a comment from the Shee. Must be my lucky day. I'm reading a book which sort of prompted this post so hopefully I'll be able to continue enhancing the comment section.

Apple has lost $250 billion of market capitalization over the past year and the smartphone market is also in the decline as a whole which I believe shows some market saturation. Without Jobs, you better hope Apple doesn't go the way of Blackberry. Google isn't going anywhere.

Google Maps is better for navigating while walking and finding places on a map - Waze is hands down better to have active while driving. The social aspect of chatting to other cars isn't that useful - but their implementation of crowdsourcing hazards/traffic/cops is phenomenal. Plus can you get Rob Gronkowski or Vlade Divac to announce your navigation with Google Maps? I didn't think so. Also it's iPhone not IPhone.

Agree with the Sugarhouse section.

Downloaded Google Maps and will give it a go this week. Don't necessarily care for the social media part of Waze, more a fan of the way the app runs and how user friendly it is. I drive 45 miles a day (Hardooo), a traffic app is a must. Will let you know what I think of google maps strictly from a driving standpoint
