"Scientist’s don’t believe that N. Korea tested a Hydrogen bomb because the blast was inconsistent with past results."

The reason people don't believe they have a hydrogen bomb is because the seismic activity of the most recent blast (2016) was actually CONSISTENT with their last test (2013), which they stated was an atomic bomb. In addition, the jump from atomic to hydrogen bomb making capabilities is a huge technological feat that took highly developed countries many years. This is why many experts are assuming N. Korea of all nations most likely hasn't made that jump that quickly.

They're just saying they have a hydrogen bomb so they receive more foreign aid because it's about to be winter and they pretty much rely on that this time of year. We give in to these demands because were dealing with a child ruler. Kim tells the country the aid we've provided are gifts from the rest of the world because we fear the great and powerful Best Korea. N. Korean citizens eat that shit up because they have no idea whats going on because this is what their window to the world looks like.

I'm under the impression that if they fired one at the US, our anti-missile defenses would detect and destroy it before it got half way across the Pacific. However, I'm completely uninformed, so I might be giving our defense too much credit. Also, there are other ways to get it close without firing a missile from North Korea, but my same thinking applies to those other options as well. Once again, I could be totally off-base here.
