"Soccer clubs dominate the top of the list, but football teams make up the bulk of the top 50 with 30 entries (only the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars failed to make the cut). The first football team on the list is valued at almost $1.15 billion less than the top soccer team. However, nearly all of the NFL teams are on the list in some capacity. Keep in the mind that the NFL is the only real league for the sport - where in soccer there are about 7-10 "major" leagues around the world.

I think the most substantial comparison is that both endulge in creating shameless, obscene spectacles of themselves - largely to the end of attracting more attention. I think a distinction should be made between football and the NFL.

While the NFL is now on the "anti-domestic violence" campaign (after being forced to...) - they really don't understand the ramifications of the other actions the encourage which undermine those sentiments. Namely, the dramatic encouragment of gambling on games.

To be stereotypical for a moment: What do you think happens when you create a culture surrounding your sport where - guy sits home drinking for 8 hours, watching vilolent stimulus, has bet $ on a game(s) - then that team loses the bet (and his $)? Looks like a recipe for domestic violence...

While similar things happen in EPL - the lexicon of the game does not focus on betting. Announcers don't cover the game through the lens of betting lines, fantasy predictions, etc. They simply talk about the game. The game does not promote the culture.

No sport or governing body is perfect (see FIFA!!) - but the NFL continually only seems to care about $ and nothing else.

I'm sure you remember this, but years ago the NFL scheduled a game for Christmas day. The body got a letter from the Pope - requesting that they not do this, as a way to preserve the sanctity of the holiday and family time together. The NFL took it under consideration and did not reschedule the game.

They stonewalled the Pope. That is the NFL's attitude and sense of entitlement.

I need 4 more pages for KK...

I have no problem with any word in the dictionary. People are way too sensitive over wording. However, I would have to say Kim K is the complete opposite of a tard. There are million of beautiful women in the world and she managed to become the pick of the litter.

This post was hastily put together so I took a stance that I was stretching a bit. The main point to take is that both popular figures accomplish very little. If people came together like they do for these mentioned topics, More Americans could actually do good for this planet,

You mentioned it briefly, but the NFL is an industry. It creates jobs and gives the people involved a unifying purpose. Two people who have never met before can bond over the fact that they're Eagles fans. It gives the 9-5ers something to look forward to, and the actual game is something that many people have participated in, and therefore can appreciate the talent, hard work, and amazing play. It's corrupt in its own way with owners and Goodell, but the product they put out is great.

Kim K just shows the tards what it's like to be a tard with a tard load of money for a tard reason (excuse me if that statement wasn't PC).
